I have spent 25 years in the Insurance and Risk Management Sectors, former Sr Underwriter with extensive  Global Insurer, Reinsurer, and Broker experience. Member of WiCYS (Women in Cyber Security).

During this time, I remained a student of business and received a pervasive education and perspective that each one of my technical and people leadership roles afforded me across this great nation.

While Insurance is my technical profession, my personal passions center around education and advocacy in order that there be an egalitarian context to what is a very complex and sometimes unforgiving sector for consumers to navigate. I believe that Companies don’t buy insurance- people do! Long Term Care facilities don’t buy insurance- people do! Start-Ups don’t buy insurance… people do.  Benefits Programs don’t buy insurance- people do!  Courts don’t have injury litigation claims- people do!

What I finally figured out is that it wasn’t INSURANCE that got me so excited all these years…. It was the PEOPLE that need it, buy it, and use it.

I no longer work for any broker or carrier; I still work with them and hold a great deal of respect for the organizations I have represented. I now am consulting for the very group of individuals I am most passionate about—The BUYING customer.  I care NOT who your provider is, who your Broker is, who your Carrier is, or how long you have golfed with your Agent. My goal is to help you buy smarter and better terms with the Brokers, Agents, and Carriers you choose to deal with.
